Oct 28, 2013 - Visit the post for more. Students have each selected an aspect of Ancient Egypt to research over the coming month. Using encyclopedias, library books and internet sources, students will learn as much as they can about their particular topic and complete a project organizer. They will then prepare a Powerpoint slideshow which they will present to the class. Research Plans; Library; Meals & Menus' Music' Music. 6th Grade Biomes/Classrooms; Eden Hall Upper Elementary; 6th Grade Biomes/Classrooms; Grade 6. There will be specific due dates for note cards, outline, paper, and costume. These dates will be posted on the student calendar and Friday Updates. Students will be given class time and library time for research. Unfortunately, resources at school may be limited as all 5th grade classes are working on the same assignment.

Learners view a PowerPoint presentation on biomes and their classifications. Divide them into groups and assign them each an individual biome to research. There are pictures of the PowerPoint slides and notes about what to teach for each, but a direct link to the presentation is not provided. Take the time to find it on the Internet because it is an excellent support to the lesson.
